I took Black and White 1 at the Photographic Center School in the spring of 1996. Our first assignment: "egg". No constraints, just take pictures of eggs. I briefly considered doing the Ed Weston green pepper thing but decided that I have more fun trying to get people to do stupid things -- and what's more stupid than having your picture taken holding an egg?

This guy wasn't nervous at all about having his picture taken by some looney. He was quite comfortable hamming it up for the camera.
