The Naked Proof: May - June 2002Early in 2002 I received an e-mail announcing that Pinwheel Pictures was beginning production of their inaugural film, The Naked Proof. Looking for another in a long series of photographic diversions from the day job, I e-mailed the director asking if I could trade shooting production stills for the freedom to shoot on set while they were making the movie. Keeping a short story short, he agreed, and I started shooting in mid-May. Aside from being an interesting documentary project, this kind of thing is a great photographic exercise. I get to shoot in a specific situation, develop the film, critique the results, and then go back into the same situation to shoot again, iterating repeatedly over the course of the shoot.
